IF WE DON’T TOTALLY REBOOT AMERICAN PUBLIC EDUCATION, NOTHING ELSE MATTERS

LESSON: U.S. public education is a disaster, by design, and unless we blow it up and start over, the government, economy, and prosperity of citizens cannot be possible forward.

According to the 2024 NAEP “Nation’s Report Card,” 12th graders posted the lowest reading results in more than three decades, with over 30% unable to demonstrate basic proficiency and nearly 50% unable to perform fundamental math operations.

Public School enrollment is projected to fall 7.6% in the next few years, even with a growing population, because parents are choosing private schools and homeschooling as the only viable options. This creates an even larger gap between haves and have nots.

The United States spends over $17,000 per full-time student on elementary and secondary education (your taxes), which is 38% higher than the average of all other developed countries. At the postsecondary level, the United States (your taxes) spends more than double the average of developed countries. Yet the U.S. places 16th out of 81 countries in science and does much worse in math, ranking 34th. Disgraceful. If this were a corporation, everyone would be fired! Randi Weingarten and the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) should have been removed and disbanded decades ago, yet they have not been since they are the largest political contributors to idiot politicians, and always have been, due to their pressure for union dues from low-income-earning teachers.

I proffer this is all by design. If the masses were encouraged and motivated to achieve great academic results, the government and historical elites would have incredible competition and resistance to their power and control. Keep everyone uneducated on purpose, and reliant upon the government and technocrats, and the elites keep control of the money supply. The current Administration shuttering of the federal Department of Education is a good start, but that is a small fraction of the complete destruction needed. Do not rely on American citizens to support themselves, understand rugged individualism, vote rationally, support their families and communities, and make America prosperous and safe, if you do not provide fantastic education first. Nothing else matters. The answer is simple and achievable immediately, but only if the American people demand it and stop allowing the government to rule us.
