LEADERS, ALWAYS REMEMBER THE WORLD LOVES A GOOD RESURRECTION
LESSON: Take a moment this Easter weekend to understand the gift of resurrection. Overcome your challenges, resentment, failure, and even hatred to understand the miracles of life, and find your Fitz!

LESSON: Take a moment this Easter weekend to understand the gift of resurrection. Overcome your challenges, resentment, failure, and even hatred to understand the miracles of life, and find your Fitz!
You don’t have to watch Rocky, Rudy, and Hoosiers too many times to understand the world loves a good resurrection. For all of us who have experienced great setbacks and disappointments, and of course that is all of us, remember this Easter the purpose of life is to overcome all these lessons and realize the rewards of resurrection.
As I presided over the total collapse of our billion-dollar investment firms by battling the federal government, I could not believe the incredible loss of business and life. But through miracle after miracle my life today is incredibly richer and happier. If I would not have had faith to persevere for over 4,000 days of incarceration, I would never have experienced the current incredibleness.
This weekend let’s remember these great challenges make us tremendously stronger, more mature, and more in-tune with the universe. So, we must view them as gifts and ensure we realize the resurrection. For all the people and organizations that have wronged you, show them that success is the greatest revenge. Our legendary angel, Joy Talley, would always tell me that holding onto hate and resentment was like drinking poison and wishing the other person dies!
Five years ago, when Ashleigh picked me up from prison and brought me to her home, this tiny little yorkie, Fitz, came out from under her bed, finally to her incredible surprise, and never left my side since. For some reason he ignored all other humans, as he seemed to think he was royalty, but I think God had him waiting for me and I was waiting for him to be my first new friend in the world. Each morning, he he was the first to greet me with wild enthusiasm, and every evening he fell asleep curled up against me.
Well, last night he suddenly passed away at the age of 12, not bad for a Yorkie, and our house is an emotional mess this Easter Sunday. We couldn’t pull ourselves together to make it to church, but I think God will understand.
Once our great sadness subsides a little, I again want to view this heartbreak as another miracle in that I had the great honor to know Fitz. Obviously, it was not by accident. He was waiting for me to come home and I was waiting for him.
Let us all please use this Easter weekend to stop feeling sorry for ourselves, stop resentment, stop the hate for those who have wronged us. Let us bounce out of bed tomorrow with resurrection, with the incredible optimism that it is a miracle we are here, we live in the greatest country every to inhabit the earth, and we are incredibly grateful for our families, work, friends, and life.
If you have never seen the famous Jimmy Stweart and Johnny Carson Dog Name Bo Clip, please take two minutes to watch. Bing Videos. I’ll always love a dog named Fitz. Happy Easter.
